"Our stay here was just ok"

"I packed up and cut my vacation short it was a complete waste of money. For the cost of this hotel etc I expected so much more. 70% of the staff are either rude, ignore you or look at you like you’re an inconvenience. Two nights (out of the 3) I got sick from room service food. My safe didn’t work. My phone didn’t work. My tv hotel directory didn’t work. I waited 30 mins for my bags that were “right behind me” I was on hold for 30 mins waiting for someone to take my food order (one of the times I ordered in). The adults only pool was blocked off for events along with lots of seats at the quieter pool. I stood in front of the hostess at Cleo trying to get a reservation and mid sentence she saw her friend, hissed at her to get her attention and started gossiping with her… in front of me. This place is crawling with strollers, toddlers and families so if you’re looking for peace and quiet this is NOT where you will get it. I let the concierge know of all my issues and no one cared much. They lightly touched base but did zero to try and turn my stay there around. Even when I filled out their review link someone called to speak to me, I let them know when I could take a call and it’s been over a week, I guess they don’t care which follows suit with my stay. The food is insultingly expensive, I don’t mind paying BUT I expect good service and quality if I do. They could learn a thing or two from hotels in the Cayman’s or Bermuda. "Nice beach but can’t walk far in either direction. Expensive to get to downtown. Reef is better closer to town. Excursions limited from hotel. Must take a private bus to get to excursions. Adds to cost"

"Not the best place I have stayed. There are some issues with this hotel & Inn, or however you want to call it. For example, they installed the containers for body wash and shampoo on my hotel's bathroom wall. But they never filled it up with actual bodywash and shampoo. Overall, you pay for what you got in that area. But I do want to thank one of the staff members there. His name is Johnson Shaquilld. He helped me contact airline to check on my delayed luggage, and he helped me again when I left my shoes on one of those small buses. I got my shoes back because he told me to wait on the other side of the street waiting for bus to come back. He then helped me the third time; he told me to take the small bus to get to the airport. It saved me a lot of money. I want to use this opportunity to thank him and the people who work in that hotel were mostly nice and very helpful. "

"television control was ridiculously complicated. could not just turn on and off. bed sheets were not full cotton, hot and sticky bathroom faucet sprayed all over. breakfast option meager and prohibitively expensive. i will not recommend or return"
