Bentota Hotels with Breakfast

"This property sits right along the shore of a beautiful, clean, white sandy beach with warm water and soft lapping waves. The property itself is currently going through some needed upgrades, but, everything was beautiful and pretty well-maintained. The units that have a patio with access to the pool were wonderful. "Our room was just almost in the dining room, so it was very noisy. As we had come from a tiring plane+car travel, we slept early but woke up like an hour later and could sleep only at around 2 a.m. The staff is very friendly and helpful though. They were ok with our late check-out. You should definitely go to the Turtle Hatchery - just 5-7 kms to the hotel- at around 5.30 and release some baby turtles to the ocean. The staff will help you do that. Unfortunately though, the room was not clean....

"Clean property and room, walking distance to the beach. Also we had a good view from the balcony (partial sea). Very nice and accommodating staff. Suresh and Shami were very helpful. Good quality food and portion size (we didn't know that breakfast was included so I suggest checking with them beforehand). Only downside was that there were ants in our room but the staff cleaned the room promptly when we notified them. A minor thing - water pressure in the shower was low so if possible fix it."
