"It's ok for one night"

"The bed was horrible. Could not sleep very good. A/C was very noisy as well as the refrigerator."

And when we inquired about the meeting place for a kayak tour we scheduled, front desk staff was rude. They explained the kayak tour was not connected to them even though the meeting place was at their property. They could’ve politely just pointed us in the right direction. They can deal with the kayak tour owner...

"Check-in was fast and efficient. Our room suited our needs and was very clean. The breakfast offered a lot of choices. We liked the location since it was quiet but still close to the lake and for our day trips into the Bayfield area. Excellent stay- thank you!"

"What a view! We had a room looking at the lake and with a patio. Great for our dog as well! Breakfast was good. Hot tub was a plus after a long day. Really enjoyed our stay! Staff was friendly too!"

"Booked a king room and received 2 queens. When returned to the front desk about the mistake, was told they are sold out and there is nothing she could do. The bathroom reeked of mildew and the bathroom fan didn't work. I believe the hotel is used primarily for workers in the area...we had a person loudly jumping up and down for several hours the first night until 11:00pm then resumed jumping at 7:00am the next morning. "Gorgeous spaces! Check in was different with no in-person contact, but communication was good and room was easy to access. Elevator was very slow, so we took stairs to the second floor room (all rooms are on the second floor). Beautiful room and bathroom with high-end fixtures. Personal welcome note on the table was a nice touch. Record player and records available was unreal but fun! Breakfast was different from most hotels, but very enjoyable. Bed was SUPER comfortable!"

"Cottage 4 was a blend of rustic charm and recent updates. The beds and furniture were comfortable. We were a party of two, but it would have been roomy for four. The hosts’ welcome gift of local ice cream was a bonus. The location worked well for us. It was just off the highway, but quiet; and we had easy drives to explore towns and trails in the area."
