"The vineyard looked terrible as it is still winter in Basel. The wifi was extremely weak and sometimes I could not connect at all. Visitors should be advised of the very weak strength of the Wifi. What a disappointment!"

"Very disappointing. Was told at check-in that breakfast was either buffet or we could order off the menu. Next morning we went to the restaurant to order a small breakfast and were told we could not - it was the buffet or nothing. They said we could go to the bistro/bar for a light breakfast. We went there at 9:40am and the sign at the entrance said they didn't open until 11am. Then went to the front desk and they said it was open and serving food. Went back into the bistro/bar and talked to the bartender, and she said they were serving drinks but no food. Then back to the front desk person who said she would check, but we gave up after waiting five minutes. She then called us in our guest room to tell us the bistro/bar in fact was not serving food, but we could go up to the restaurant for coffee and a croissant. All of this took about 20 minutes. We gave up and went to a nearby restaurant. Just poor service, incorrect information, incorrect signage at the bistro, etc."

"Very convenient to train station. Our stay included a Basel Transit Pass which made it very easy to connect by tram to the Viking dock. If you are staying overnight and arrive or depart by train its a great location. "

"Check in was great. I was able to check in early. My lower rating is due to the bed being so lumpy, i couldn't sleep on it. I was there to sleep for a short time before a flight so unfortunately didnt have time to ask to change rooms but it was so bad, i couldnt imagine others would be too much better. The location is incredible due to location of the train and tram station however it comes with a huge downfall. The trams are coming in with almost every minute which is so loud. They supply ear plugs on the nightstand however, the rumbling cannot me remedied. Personally, i would never ever stay here again. It's not their fault for the tram situation but still, would keep me from wanting to stay here had i know. "
