"This is a great hotel - perfect if being near the main station/transport is important. It’s a very traditional place in terms of decor but everything was immaculate and well looked after - our room was really spacious and even had an exercise bike which we weren’t expecting! "We had a wonderful time at this hotel! The room was exceptional and the breakfast was fantastic! The location is perfect! There were just a couple of smaller problems such as empty shampoo bottle in shower and very small beds. Also, the staff is efficient and helpful but not friendly or welcoming. "

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Mercure. After a long drive it was so nice to have a swim in the pool and relax in the jacuzzi and sauna. The bed in my room was so comfy and the room itself was spacious and so quiet. I also loved the blinds to make the room completely dark. The hotel was really easy to find and luckily not far from the motorway so I didn’t have to navigate too far. I also ate in the restaurant and the food was really nice and the service was very good. I would definitely stay here again. "

"I highly recommend that everyone should look beyond the big expensive city of Basel and look into Germany for accommodations. Although this hotel had slightly outdated décor, one can see that this hotel, and it's staff, have a lot of pride in their work place, and they offer great service. My room was spotless, had all the necessities except for air conditioning but thankfully, it was a cool enough night that it wasn't necessary. The hotel offered a plentiful and fresh breakfast buffet that was fit for a king. Everything was wonderful at the Carathotel. I really commend the staff that was very welcoming."

"From arriving at the hotel late, we were welcomed really well. Booking in was so quick and easy. The staff gave advice on how to find the Museum we were visiting the following day and were to get food late on in the evening. From the following morning the Lady in charge of reception absolutely brilliant looking after us impeccably nothing was a bother for our whole stay. We will be at the museum again and will have no problem in booking with the B&B Hotel in Mulhouse ten stars."
