"The room was quite large and the overhead lights in the form of photographs are interesting. The breakfast was a little uninspiring but not bad. The gentleman on reception (the owner) appeared rather unfriendly at first but did provide some information about the town. At first he said that it was not possible to do laundry, but actually did it for us. We got other people's clothes back in our laundry and when we took them back he didn't seem overly concerned. "This hotel is in a very nice location with an outstanding ocean view. The restaurant at the top floor is unbelievable, you have to eat here during your stay - try the daily fresh fisch! It’s a bit pricy but was worth it. Wish the rooms water utensils will be replaced since there is some rust and breakfast with some more warm food options. Other then that it’s really a nice place for your stay."

"The hotel was a bit difficult to find but was well appointed, except for the absence of a lift. We enjoyed our stay although Saturday night was a little noisy! It is well located for easy access to restaurants, shops and the old town."

"This is THE BEST hotel in Amasra. A 30 minute walk from the town but it gives you incredible peace and relaxation. Room was beautiful, clean and the ocean view is jaw dropping. We booked here mainly for the pool and it was perfect. VERY clean, not too crowded, all guests were respectful and the gentleman that tends to the pool area was very nice and friendly. Senol at the front desk was a JOY to meet, he is very kind, helpful and nice, he made our stay much more pleasant. Breakfast buffet had plenty of options. "
