"Lovely staff very helpful few issues on arrival apparently Expedia and the hotel had not communicated properly. We didn't like staying in the Gatehouse room...it was dark, the spare room was quite scary thank goodness we didn't use it. My man was so looking forward to a nice bath and jacuzzi but hey ho...the jacuzzi didn't work. Nice breakfast. Won't stay here again though."

"Rooms were clean, could do with updating, there is a restaurant on site , but only did minimal food, bar on site , there are vending machines, that only take only money, but the machine you had to muck about with it to get the snacks as the door was dodgy. Signal is weak, location is lovely"

"The room was amazing and so comfortable, the staff were lovely and couldn't have done anymore to make our stay special. The food was phenomenal and after seeing the prices we will definitely be planning on visiting more often with our family. Cannot wait to see the renovation but hope the same feeling stays about the place as it is such a special venue for us as a family. We got married there and love the old Scottish feel about the place. "

"First time here , but the rooms were fairly spacious , clean, and I always check mattress! Excellent , good lighting , lovely bathroom items provided , shampoo etc, my only wish would be that the shower wasn’t in the bath ! Due to bad knees , but water hot and good pressure , tea coffee fasciitis provided in room , we ate in the restaurant , food was great , well priced , and hot on arrival. Breakfast included , buffet style , good , plenty on offer , ( but the tea was not very warm , ) all in...
