"Gorgeous property. We received an upgrade and had 2 joining rooms with 2 bathrooms connected with by an interior 'hallway'. The balcony overlooked the pool and you could see the ocean as well. The night we stayed we were able to enjoy their Oriental celebration from our balcony. Our room was not ready at checkin but we were able to enjoy the property anyways. "Lovely hotel within walking distance (even with my kids) from the metro, the rooftop restaurant and pool are great. The food was gorgeous and there is a great view of the Acropolis. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Shout-out to Maria at the rooftop restaurant and bar! Breakfast was delicious with a ton of options. This hotel is perfect for visiting Athens and the rooftop pool was ideal as we stayed in July. "

"Great spot right by Acropolis. Apartments are small but well maintained. Excellent breakfast buffet and everything is so close. Yes - shower is a bit awkward without a curtain but you get used it. Overall a great spot and super helpful staff. "

"We could not have been happier with our stay at Athens Gate. The staff was absolutely wonderful: knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating. Our room was lovely...clean, comfortable and with a marvelous view. Our server, Evita, in the Roof Top restaurant was delightful. The view of the Acropolis from the restaurant is absolutely amazing. The location of the hotel near the historic old town is perfect. "

"We have stayed here several times the night before a flight home to the States. It’s easy to take the train or a cab into Athens if you have time. The nicest part is the staff, very very kind. Our plane home was delayed for six hours and they were able to arrange a late checkout for our three rooms. One more thing, no need for shuttles to various terminals, the hotel is right across the street from Aegean, United, and many other airlines. Good breakfast too."
