"Convenient - it’s physically inside the airport gates. Check out was at 10:00. If your flight is in the evening they have you check out and store your bags at reception; you can remain on the grounds by the pool or in the restaurant or bar while waiting. The gift shop is great if you’ve not been able to find a souvenir for someone before departing. "

"I was just coming off a tour and had an extra night to spend in Arusha. Rather than spend the night in the tour hotel I decided to try Mc-Elly's for about 4x LESS the price. The area in the daytime is a bit chaotic (industrial area) but it's the real Africa not what I saw in the tour hotel. As soon as the sun goes down it was very quiet. Loved sitting out on my balcony.

I enjoyed the views, peacefulness, and the bed was very comfortable There was TV, Wi-Fi, AC that was not needed in July, and a well cleaned outdoor pool. The location was convenient for my safari driver, booking agent and his driver, and all were acquainted."

"We wanted to have a chance to relax a bit after our nine day safari and chose to stay here because it is close to the airport. You will be amazed by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness, the delicious food, and the grounds, as the gardens are lovely. You will not be disappointed with choosing this hotel, they even have a nice pool and spa. The only cons were that there is no mini fridge in the room and the WiFi can be a little challenging."
