"We landed at this hotel after our VRBO fell out (confirmed reservation from VRBO, host said they rejected as full so we had to scramble). Very clean and well appointed. Price was a bit high due to the eclipse but VRBO covered the difference so it didnt matter much to us. The one challenge is that you'll def need wifi or phone service to check in (my french service wasnt cooperating). Great location and beautiful old building. Recommended!"

"Located in the heart of the Rioja region the Hotel provided a very comfortable and friendly base from which to explore. Reception staff were excellent friendly with excellent English. We were guided to a local multi-lingual and talented taxi company who acted as tour guides and local advisors - made our trip really special. We had free EV charging in the free carpark next to the front door of the Hotel."

"Le personnel est accueillant, souriant et parle le français L’hôtel est calme mais à proximité des grands axes donc parfait pour faire une pause lors d’un long trajet L’appartement était parfait, propre, literie parfaite L’unique bémol est qu’il n’y avait pas de liquide vaisselle, éponge ni pastille pour le lave-vaisselle donc nous avons dû laisser notre vaisselle sale dans le lave-vaisselle (d’ailleurs il y en avait à notre arrivée à l’intérieur du lave-vaisselle)"

"D’abord on nous donne la clé de la chambre et la fenêtre etait ouverte et pas moyen de la fermer ! J’ai réclamé on m’as donné une deuxième exactement la même chose fenêtre cassée ! Je réclame et une troisième chambre pas moyen d’éteindre les lumières ! On a du dormir avec les lumières ! Et en plus la télé était bloquée sur le football ! Pas moyen de voir autre programme !!! Mauvaise expérience !"

"A beautiful dreamy Parador! Within most peaceful nature filled grounds, the rooms were exceptionally clean even with back garden access! Delicious breakfast either in the dinning room or garden terraza! Staff is super friendly and helpful with sharing information. Awesome bar with exceptional views of the gardens and sunset! "The best night's stay we had on our entire journey through Spain. The hotel itself is very charming, beautifully renovated and updated while maintaining its 17th century charm. Javier and Rosemary were extremely accommodating - we arrived late, but they greeted us, and we were given a private viewing of the bodega/cellar in he morning. It was such a treat to see this small-scale winemaking operation. Breakfast was delicious. We plan to come back!"

"Plenty of free parking. The room was a good size, clean and well appointed. The breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold food and drink. The reception staff were excellent. We got to know them really well as we were staying for a week. There was a cafe / restaurant immediately opposite and reasonably priced. The hotel was named Vitoria but the town itself was a 12 / 15 minute drive away."
