"This hotel is a bit dated and could use a remodel. We overall enjoyed the stay since we weren't in the room as much. There was only AC in the bedroom, so we had to keep the living room windows open most of the time, since the AC in the bedroom was barely enough to keep it cool. The thermostat was set to 20 degrees Celsius so if you need to sleep cooler that wasn't an option. Maybe if the AC was mounted on a wall that blew the air on you at night that would have been better (currently it is located in a corner, that is over the night stand and a small part of the head of the bed). We ended up sleeping at the foot of the bed to try and feel that air at night while asleep. The staff including the hotel security were amazing!! Everyone was kind, friendly and eager to assist. The shuttle was scheduled and the driver was prompt getting us loaded and back to the airport. The of the 3 days we ate breakfast, only on one day was the food on the serving dishes hot (maybe the warmers were out of fuel). You could always get a hot omlet since it was cooked to order. It appeared as though the food had been sitting for a while. After a few days we opted to just go out for breakfast to get a hot meal and fresh fruit. My biggest wish is that there was an option for a non-smoking room. Our room had been smoked in and there were some burn hole in the upholstery of the foot rest in the bedroom and in the curtains in both the bedroom and the living room."

"My family enjoyed everything about this property. The housekeeping and cooks were our highlights along with the great security guards that actually assist with luggage to the rooms. The breakfast is brought to your room FRESHLY MADE. Eggs, pancakes, fresh fruit, tea and coffee, toast and muffin. The only thing; the electric is ran off a prepaid card (as all of Rwanda), BUT the card ran out and I thought we were without electric until I looked around at the other rooms and seen that they had electric. I called front desk and they did have it solved within 20 mins. Otherwise, the property is great, views and all."

"Very conveniently located next to convention center. Quiet and clean with spacious rooms for standard rooms. I only did not like that the AC unit was opposite king size bed because cold air blew on face or head all night. Nice roof top restaurant. Breakfast buffet with reasonable food selections."

"Amazing place with excellent customer service. The staff were always polite, responsive, and quick to help with anything I needed. They fixed the phone in my room, helped unlock my safe after I forgot the password 😅, and were consistently helpful throughout my stay. The hotel is very clean, and I especially loved the unique setup of the pool and poolside area—it has a really nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Kim Hotel and would happily stay here again."
