"Really good hotel in great location , access via city by car is terrible due to acc road restrictions and Hydro Electric works around this part of the city , zero parking at this hotel , nerby car parks are card payments only and quite far away , no good for those woth amy mobilty issue's. "The hotel was as expected for the money. Budget friendly, very clean, tidy and typical size, amenities, fresh towels, ensuite, etc. Room was good, although I couldn't get the air con to work. I did have a little USB travel fan - so no big deal. Very comfy room and the blackout curtains allowed me to sleep in till 9am despite sunrise about 4am! "The Highland Hotel (now merged with the Brentwood Hotel next door) is on Crown Street, less than ten minutes walk from Aberdeen bus and train station. It is just off Union Street which is the main central street in Aberdeen (the equivalent of Princes Street, Edinburgh - sort of!). We stayed for 3 days, breakfast included. The room, towels, and bed linen were spotless. But the whole hotel is 'tired'. There is no lift, but the reception man will carry up the cases for you. Usual tea and biscuits...

"Alle negatieve reviews stellen zich een beetje aan, is het hotel nieuw, nee. Is het hotel een 5 sterren ervaring, ook niet. Maar daar is de prijs ook naar, op een locatie vlak bij het trein station en het centrum! Het enigste nadeel was dat de kamer (en eigenlijk het hele gebouw) heel warm was. Verder alles netjes in orde!"

"Brilliant stay, lovely room's nice to get awa and chill. Couples bath is a nice touch in the club deluxe room. Well worth it. Cocktails were fabulous, the pornstar was really nice. Breakfast was also good with a good choice and staff all very pleasant and helpful."

"Lovely old property, well looked after. Well positioned for touring. Very professional and friendly staff. Only downside was that we had a ground floor room which proved noisy late at night and early morning because of comings and goings in the corridor outside our room "
