"It’s…fine. It is a stunning building as reflected in the exterior photos, and the downstairs interior has some beautiful rooms. That said - the more you look, the more you see signs that the property is well due for renovation. The room itself was okay, but far from spectacular and clearly lacked attention to detail. The bed was comfortable and king size as advertised. However, while two king single size beds pushed together to make a full-size king is not uncommon, in this case the mattresses...

"Exceptionally friendly staff, very welcoming on arrival and during our stay, It’s a lovely modern & well maintained hotel. Rooms are clean, spacious & warm. The food is served in a modern dining room hosted by extremely pleasant & thoughtful staff. The food itself is of high quality with plenty to choose from. Enjoyed our Stay & plan to be returning guests."

"It was OK a little tired could do with some modernization specially, the bathroom. I only have one light there was no fridge no safe not really any amenities and a very small TV. The breakfast was very good position of the hotel was excellent. Would I stay there again probably not."

"The check-in process was disappointing because I had to ask about nearly everything. The listing stated that a parking tag would be provided if parking was included, but none was given. When I asked, I was told that parking required an additional fee, which was then added to our room. The pool also costs extra, and unfortunately, it was not worth it. We went to use the hot tub but were told we couldn’t use it because the bubbles weren’t running. The staff member who told us was not friendly or...

"Our stay was perfect! Rooms were spacious, clean, and our accessible room was an excellent layout and perfectly functional. Breakfast was outstanding, afternoon tea in the library was excellent, the dinner menu was a bit limited, but what thay had was all delicious. Item of note is they do not have bell carts, and bell service is charged @£5 per bag.. Didn't use the service but was surprised given the exceptional service we found otherwise. Great base for our 3 nights..Highly recommend"

"The hotel was very clean. All staff members that we were in contact were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great with lots of options (eggs (scrambled and boiled), bacon, sausage, fruit, yogurt (with toppings), cheeses, pastries, juice, and coffee. We enjoy staying here and will stay here again when we return. The location is great as well."
