"The hosts - Ann Maria and George were very kind and treated us like family. The breakfast was fresh, delicious and just enough. We were able to place an order for breakfast the previous night. That was a great way to avoid wastage. Upon request, they made freshly squeezed orange juice. The property was 5-6 min walk to the main city square of Kalabaka. "What a wonderful property. The staff were very warm and friendly. The breakfast was excellent...all prepared on site. The property was beautiful inside and out. I would recommend staying in Kastraki where this property is located. The village is very relaxed and the views of the spires are much better than those in larger Kalabaka. The monastaries are breathtaking. Just be prepared to navigate a lot of steps. I would definitely stay at Doupiani House Hotel again!"
