The Meteoris was a very good option for our visit to the Monasteries. Staff is very welcoming and offers maps and suggestions for the visit. Rooms are very clean and AC is great!

There was a problem with the flashing of the toilet! The picture of the balcony was different than the actual balcony we had. Overall not a bad hotel. The receptionist was not the most welcoming person but the rest of the staff was nice!

Staff are so friendly and the location is nice to travel around Meteora. There are some restaurants around the hotel. It's a bit far from Kalambaka central by walking, but you can call a taxi for a good price range.

We stayed at this location during off season (November) so it was not overly busy, although there was bus group and others in the hotel - it is a beautiful location close to locally owned restaurants and stuff is friendly. It is close to the drive through the monasteries

Views of Meteora

Hotel is conveniently located for the tourist attraction of Meteora. Parking is easy, breakfast is good. Balcony has sideways view of the geological formations of Meteora. There are some good restaurants within walking distance which are reasonably priced.

Meteora in November

Very happy with our stay. Very clean. Towels changed daily. Friendly staff. Wonderful location for exploring Meterora. Hotel set back from road with good parking. We liked Kastraki. Quiet in November but several local restaurants were open. And the Autumnal colours were gorgeous.

I stayed at Meteoritis Hotel for two days at end of December 2023. It is located in Kastaraki and a path leads upto the Meteora Rocks from right on front of the hotel. Kastaraki is about 30 minutes walking from Kalambaka (where the train station is) or a short taxi ride costing 6 Euros. The hotel and the room itself was clean, the staff nice and helpful. The room was nice and clean. The hotel bar outside the premises was mosty closed though. If you want tea outside breakfast hours, during the day, you can grab a tea/coffee from the restaurant in a hotel next door located on left side of this one. There are also a few convenience stores around. I generally ate at Efrosino, which is 5 minutes walking if you make a right when you come out of the hotel. The Kastaraki village is walking distance and also the Meteora rocks. Atleast two monasteries are approachable on foot. It is a quiet location and good for walking around.

Really enjoyed our stay here. The area is beautiful and close enough to restaurants and things nearby. We did a 16km walk to visit all the monasteries which I would absolutely recommend. The hotel was wonderful and would advise anyone to stay here
