"A really unusual hotel with great design and full of vibrant color. Easy and reasonable parking right behind the hotel. Quick check-in with a pleasant staff. Wonderful bar and restaurant. My only suggestions are that the lighting is too dim to see to work your door key card and the interior light switches, and we found the breakfast service to be indifferent and our orders incorrect. A mandatory 20% tip might be why. I would definitely stay there again but have breakfast nearby."

"By far the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Four police greeted my parents when they arrived. Someone clearly had used a crowbar to open my room because it couldn't shut all the way anymore. There was garbage overflowing from the trash can at the bottom of the stairs. No elevator. There was something sticky on the desk in my room. "This is an old hotel in a lower/mid neighborhood. They don't allow bag checking or early check in. The rooms were old but clean and functional. Price is readonable. You check in through a well worn hole in the glass and must make a cash deposit of $50. Some will be put off by this but it met my needs for the price."

"We had a great time at the Tru Hotel! It was newly remodeled building and we were welcomed by a friendly staff. Loved how nice and clean the room and bathroom was. One of the best hotel options in the area for parking. There was street parking after 4pm for free or a public parking lot across the street for $25 through the hotel. Also it was in close walking distance to the Inner Harbor and lots of great restaurants. Such a nice choice for a weekend getaway! We’ll definitely come back. "

The bed and pillows were SO comfortable, coupled with the fact that it seemed our room was sound-proof, lol...we slept incredibly well. We didn't hear any noise at all. It was wonderful! There is plenty to do around it and we walked to dinner, which was nice. Parking was also very easy and reasonably priced. "My friend and I stayed here as a weekend getaway. It was absolutely perfect. The service was phenomenal from start to finish. We did have an issue with valet but they corrected it immediately and gave us a discount on the cost. The hotel is stunning, lives up to all the hype. "
