"Lovely staff, very friendly. Room was far too hot and air con only blew out hot hair despite being on the cold setting. We were on the lower ground floor so we couldn’t open our windows properly without having the curtains open which meant people walking down the side street could see directly in to our room. One of the windows was locked too. Bar closed early and would only serve bottled wine or beer. "

"The check in process took us 3 hours in total. We were not sent the check in instructions and when we tried to call the number listed there was no one connected. After waiting 2.5 hours someone connected and when we managed to talk to her she then couldn’t get the lockbox code which took another 30 minutes "

"Lovely, spacious and clean room and easy to park at hotel. Staff were friendly and hardworking! We ate in the bar and would recommend it - in particular the steak pie was execellent. Great breakfast too - and a good choice! Look forward to staying next time we're in Aberdeen. "

"The receptionist was far from welcoming - very matter of fact. I enquired to see if there was any cancellation with a dog friendly room - shrugged her shoulders and that was a no - not even I am sorry. Bar staff where we could take a dog was over the top - as we walked in announced to whole bar we were walking in - there was a very loud child approx 9 yrs old who he was encouraging to be even louder - we moved table. We have stayed here a few times but will not be back."

"Room very clean, spa relaxing and breakfast superb. The wait for our dinner was unacceptable. We sat down just before 8pm and after asking twice where our food was it arrived at 9:15pm. To be fair the drinks bill was reduced to nil as a goodwill feature due to the delay. The staff in the dining room were very good. Also if you have an EV you may not get access to the charger as there was only one. It does say in the promotions info that there are 10 in total but they are in the main for the PJ...

"Positives: Breakfast had a good selection. Staff were nice. Hotel was very clean. Rooms were spacious. Good central location. Less Positive but not negatives; Double bed was on the small side and the room got very warm through the night. Have stayed more than once and would definitely return."
