"Room clean. Staff watched while my poor husband trudged up the stairs numerous times to bring our luggage. They halfheartedly asked him if he needed help. The stairs were brutal. Otherwise everything and everyone was good."

"This is a well-maintained older hotel in downtown Astoria. We stayed in a room with a private bath and shower. It was lovely, with large double-hung windows that provided lots of light and opened to provide a cross-breeze at night and a view of downtown. The staff was really responsive and very helpful in offering suggestions for restaurants and how to navigate the downtown parking rules. The hotel is dog -friendly, for real. Since the takeover by Best Western, I noticed that the rooms have been beautifully remodeled and were spotlessly clean. The free breakfast was a fantastic perk that really started my day off right.
