"the front desk had no idea about service animals, I tried to even show the law to him, I don't know if the owner knew either it took forever, but it did work out ok in the end, but I would think you're going to run a motel, you should know the laws. There were no amenities so can't speak on it, no air conditioner, very basic but fairly clean, I wouldn't say it's horrible by no means, a lot worse, but don't expect anything because there is absolutely nothing."

"Nice clean and cozy room. Bed was very comfortable and hardwood floors, which is key. Room is small, not a lot of extra space for two people to splay out, but it was what we needed for a short stay. Microwave and mini fridge in the room which is always nice to have. Staff was very friendly when we were checking in."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Deer Harbor Inn lodge and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Orcas Island. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy! Perfect after a jam-packed day of hosting activities for our friends, from Deer Harbor marina to Eastsound, and ending with the best brisket ever at Matthews Smokehouse just across from the lodge. "The bed was clean, not top shelf comfy, but ok. There is a gas fireplace that did not turn completely off so the room got hot. Fortunately it was cool and the open window helped. There is an air conditioner too. Fairly quiet except during peak traffic times. The carpet and furniture were older. Centrally located near many, many coffee shops and restaurants! Parking was close. Overall a decent stay."
