"Very comfortable room & bed. Superb meals in the elegant Carrier drawing room. Slight downside in that we were kept waiting to sign in. Disappointing that mostly the flowers on display were artificial, despite having a cut-flower garden outside."

Check-in was very friendly and quick, and we were walked to our room by the receptionist. The room was lovely, but we did discover an issue with the electronic lock — it wouldn’t lock when we went to leave. We reported it to reception, and someone came to have a look at it quite quickly. "Upon arrival I was met with nice friendly staff. I had my wedding reception here so I already knew the place was top notch. Brilliant hotel, throughly recommend. If I could pick one issue is that the wifi wasn’t the best and didn’t really work. "

"The staff were very helpful from the moment I arrived. I needed to book an additional night and thought that might mean a different room for two nights as Expedia said they couldn’t do at their end. They were very accommodating and gave me a room upgrade which was lovely. They carried my luggage to my room. Breakfast was amazing. Servers were friendly. The front desk agent arranged transportation for me when I left. A very pleasant stay. "
