"Great location"

"The staff are always welcoming from day one. We have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and found it a very enjoyable experience. There has been the odd little glitch but rectified right away. The only one problem we found that if you don't want to use your car and want to use the bus service you have to walk into barnsley interchange to go anywhere its a 20 minute walk across a very busy roundabout and road. The rooms are always very clean and tidy but still an excellent place to stay. "

"Very clean, modern and comfortable bed. Great to have restaurant on site. Easy parking. Friendly reception. It’s a little out of centre city Barnsley, so you’d need a car, but as we had one this wasn’t an isse"

"The disabled facilities in the room were perfect it's ashame that outside wasn't a bit safer ..broken slabs and uneven walkway to the building not ideal."

"So we stayed at the st Pierre hotel, it was five minute walk to the new miller dam , we loved the hotel for its value for money , room was clean and hotel was also , Elmo does a great cooked breakfast and we could choose what we wanted , the staff were very friendly , and we above and beyond to help . "Last minute choice for us but a good one. Lots of dog friendly space outside the hotel in the gardens which, whilst somewhat neglected were still enjoyable and full of wildlife. Hotel itself was slightly dated and could do with a lick of paint or two but overall was in good condition and the evening receptionist and breakfast staff were top notch. Earlier in the evening we had walked out of a hotel we had booked and paid for as it transpired to be dismal but this place was an excellent last...

"Room was lovely and warm. Great shower, excellent choice of TV channels, room service was a bonus and delicious and the breakfast was superb. The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel itself is beautiful and historic, the grounds are kept beautifully too. A great stay and would definitely stay again. Fabulous price as well!"
