Upon arrival into our room, the odor was so foul we had to keep the door ajar.
There was no way to access fresh air as the “oceanfront” room was a glass panel.
We bring an air quality monitor with us when we travel and this hotel room was leaps and bounds higher than any hotel we’ve ever tested.
(And as a pilot we’ve been in hundreds of hotel rooms).
The switches by the bed were “hot wired” as they told us after we had come down to ask about them. When their technician came to show us how to use them he spoke loudly and abrasively saying. “ Here in America, we call this a light switch”. This light switch being in another room- had to be on in order to charge our phones.
The gym was so small that only one family or room can use it at the same time. A glorified closet. No beach or pool access after dusk.
We could not stay in the unhealthy environment and decided we needed to look for more suitable accommodations elsewhere.
I highly suggest that you look elsewhere before choosing this establishment.
After contacting front desk and management, went through Expedia, still did not get a refund from the property. ZERO money back even though it was a health issue.
Expedia did reimburse half, but that was after multiple texts, emails, and phone conversations.
What a mess.
Be careful if choosing this company.
