"Great breakfast, plenty of it, no wokery, nice quality, good taste very enjoyable. 5 stars. Friendly staff everywhere, including front desk management, restaurant and garden staff. The gardens are worth the stay on their own. Cliffden is a reassuringly traditional hotel, with lovely views and a wonderful welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Thank you."

"Position of house was very good although there was no parking which is inconvenient. The furniture is old and very tatty The central heating didn't work terribly well. We enjoyed our stay, there is lots of space but feel the place need some decorating and some newer furnishings "

"Room was clean, staff very good, food was great, only issue was I choose a hotel with on site disabled parking and there was none, managed to park on road but at busier times it wound be a struggle, also the lift could only be used by one person at a time and the lift was incredibly slow, the description on your site needs updating with regards to parking, but we had a very enjoyable experience. "Brilliant location, on the headland with views of the sea from the restaurant and our bedroom. Staff very friendly, excellent gluten free options particularly the cinnamon cheesecake! and they willingly let us use their big white towels on the beach when we didn't bring our own. Really lovely 2 day visit."

"Lovely hotel right on the sea front sadly I booked late so had a room at the back! It was ok! Room comfortable but very dated and tatty had all I needed though! Didnt eat there, barman was nice and a drink on the terrace was lovely! The receptionist was very kind and changed my room from the basement as I was travelling solo! I would stay again but a sea view room which looked so much better! "
