"The Lord Nelson Hotel is an elegant old hotel, beautifully kept and up to date. The restaurant for dinners, breakfast, and lunch had terrific menus. The waiter and waitress that served me were very friendly and accommodating for my GF (not celiac but doctor’s orders) diet. The dinner waiter made me a perfect Jack Daniel’s Manhattan on Monday night. My Tuesday lunch waitress supplied a delicious virgin Pimms. The Digby Scallops were perfectly seared and delicious. My only note is that there was no ATM in the hotel. Out of cash, I could not leave a tip for the housekeeper or doorman this morning! Highly recommended. "
