"Beautiful building and grounds. Check in staff were friendly and my room was nice (family room). A couple of negatives for me was the shower head had so much limescale on it the water hardly came out. I spent twenty minutes cleaning it myself so I could shower! Sitting at the desk, the chair was low (or the mirror was too high) that I could not use comfortably (sitting down) to do hair or makeup. No plugs next to bed or USB charging ports to charge phone etc over night. Signage to spa was lacking. Despite those points it would not stop me returning."

"We stayed in a family room which was very spacious and comfortable with a separate sitting area. Really quiet and great location in the city. Did not eat or drink in hotel but the bar and restaurant looked very welcoming. Overall a great place to stay."
