"This cottage has a really nice vibe very clean and ideally situated for visiting Thirsk and the local communities. The market square is a few short steps away The railway station is a pleasant 30 minutes walk away, but it does have a bus service if the weather is not too good The cottage is spread over 3 storeys and is modern kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor and sitting/living room is 1st floor and bedroom top floor. "on a steep hill. steep stairs. creaky double bed. no headboard on single bed kitchen step steep. stair rails becoming detached. bedding was clean lots of pillows and towels clean. sink about as small as you could get one. difficult to actually wash and the shower head needed attention as did the soap holder (rusty and black). carpet on entry curled up so a trip hazard. as we only slept there, it was comfortable enough but we didnt cook anything . kitchen was a bit...

"We loved this property. The owners obviously have an eye for decor as it is a really stylish place and beautifully finished. We loved how peaceful the property was and the owners had thought of everything . We really appreciated the tea, coffee and milk after a 5 hour drive and the muffins, biscuits and crisps were a lovely touch. All the information you needed was in a folder and we visited lots of the places recommenced in it. It’s a fantastic property and we hope to stay there again."
