"Lovely old building, good location exceptional breakfast. Parking is a bit of a nightmare after a 10 point turn in the car park had to find parking across the road which was no problem for my little car but you might struggle with a bigger car."

"We booked two rooms,holes in ceilings and old parts of things that no longer work left in place,cobwebs all around inside of window and the panelling on the floor around windows full of dust,very warm and humid rooms had to spend time outside in car to cool,would not stay again awful."

"The hotel was such a disappointment. The hotel reception is the nicest part, the rooms, or at least the rooms we were in across the bridge were so dated and dull. It was the hottest day of the year and the only place in the hotel with air con was the reception desk. The pool and jacuzzi was nice but not worth going back for. So much better value out there."

"Stayed for one night, with my son, for a Mazda MX5 car meet up in the car park- the reason for our stay. The hotel is very nice. We had a meal in the Savvy Fox - i like the decor. The meal was very nice - but not cheap. The twin room was very basic, but was clean and adequate for a one night stay. The beds were very comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. "This Race Course branch of the Chain does everything it says on the tin. Helpful staff, clean rooms, great breakfast choice. Having to fork out for parking is unwelcoming. Outside of race days whats the point.... a few miles down the road the member of the chain doesn't charge. So I go there next time. Otherwise no beefs."
