Danby Hotels with Swimming Pool

"Very tired room, TV didnt work properly even after maintenance tried to fix it. Carpet stained, bathroom with lots of damage and generally very poor value for the money charged. Reception staff good. Hotel had LOTS of smashed glass and bottles outside and felt generally very iffy in terms of personal safety. Would not advise single females to use this hotel. It has clearly seen better days but I wont be using again."

"No curtains in the room, just ill-fitting roller blinds, it felt a little like a youth hostel rather than a hotel room. The iron we asked for covered my white shirt in black gunk (my fault for not checking the plate but disappointed staff would give out such rubbish). Extractor fan in bathroom broken, very uncomfortable old soggy mattress. Staff were lovely, breakfast average, quiet overall in the rooms. "
