"We stayed in a family bedroom that was very spacious, with beds for four, plus a comfortable sleeping couch and a table that seated four. The hotel sits on a hilltop with a beautiful view over the harbor. Breakfast was excellent—truly the best I’ve had in Sweden."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Stadshotell. The room was great overall, although it could use more counter space in the bathroom. Frukost was great, although you need to learn to make CRISPY bacon, not lumps of fat. Restaurant menu was outstanding. You need a photo of Amal's most famous singer in the hallway: GUNNEL EKLUND, instead of all the blues singers who have no genuine connection to the city."

"The staff was not present for check in and we had to wait a long time. Despite great weather the staff did not open the pool. Broken shower door and broken furniture at breakfast. Staff refused to put out more breakfast despite many guests arriving 15 min before breakfast closed, so we did not get proper breakfast or even coffee. This place needs to rethink. "
