Only issue I had was the extra charges with no explanation as to what they were for. Unless they charged for the shampoo and conditioner. Couldn't have been the body wash, considering it was empty.
Maybe it was the sponge that we used and tossed when we left. I mean, who wants to use someone else's dirty sponge?

That extra charge that you mentioned is called a parking lot recapture fee. Essentially it is a fee that the hotel charges for parking lot upkeep. Since your other comments were so positive, I went ahead and credited your charge card for 8.38. You should see that transaction on your statement very soon.
We liked the Asst GM, Joyce Asher. She was always smiling and helpful
when I asked my questions. Having employees such as Joyce makes people want to return.

BE AWARE, there is a "voluntary" daily parking fee that is not disclosed but added to your final bill. It was explained to us that it is to pay for the parking garage next door, for the Marriott. We obviously opted out, did not leave a good impression at all.
The gym was very nice. And we also enjoyed the breakfast and clean room. We had a great stay. Thank you.

Excellent staff. Remodeled rooms, but showing a few structural opportunities, due to the properties age.
Dishwasher did not work in the room. Overall a good stay and would recommend to others.

AC quit but on Thanksgiving day, they were able to locate a service person to correct it. Rooms fit our needs perfectly. Very pleased with our stay and looking forward to returning.

Shower booth and the bathroom floor was not clean.
We used the pull out sofa bed during our stay. It was clear that the cleaning staff has neglected to clean below the cushions when it isn’t used as a bed.
Beware- there are two Residence Inns in Richardson/Plano and both are adjacent to GBT. it creates confusion for the guests. I’m told that mixing up locations happens regularly so why not fix this with a slight name change. Despite my frustration the room was lovely and met my needs.

Room was not clean at checkin, we were gone all day and it still wasn’t clean when we returned. The shower was especially bad photos of it are attachéd this was old grime and mildew

Stayed for one night 08/14/2022 at this nice, new and redesigned Residence Inn. Checked out and learned my catalytic converter was stolen. No security or cameras around the building or parking. $2000 cost and all the manager offered me is a heck of a discount on my next stay. While getting my vehicle repaired, met a man that had his stolen the same night at the Courtyard next door. STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!

Emergency Stay Due to HVAC issue
The hotel could get an upgrade especially in the bathroom area and carpeting in the hallway. The floor in the bathroom is not level and the area around the shower could use a thorough clean-up.
It would be nice if the breakfast offers some changes rather than the same day after day.

Carpet needs to be replaced!
The service is great however the room could definitely get updated especially the hallway and room carpets.
Also the breakfast items are the same throughout our stay of 3 out of 4 nights so far.
Could definitely have a variation of hot breakfast items.
Other than that, the service and the location is perfect for our need.
