Room/Apartments were wonderful. Excellent location. Laundry in the apartments was really nice to have. They paid attention to every detail and really felt like they were welcoming us into their home. "I love the layout of the property but please be aware due to proximity to the rainforest there are A LOT of bugs. My wife and I fought for our lives against a giant cockroach and the villa definitely had a lot of ants and spiders. The plunge hours being limited to the spa hours was a downside for us as well. My wife recommends the facial! The private pool was awesome. Truly if we didnt have the bug issues I would have given it 5 stars."

"Cape Trib beach house gives you the opportunity to have a secluded bit of rainforest and beach away from the busier parts of the Daintree. The restaurant is good, portions are large. You can sit on an idyllic beach with just a couple of others hearing and seeing the rainforest animals as waves lap upon the beach. We saw Cassowary at the property twice in our 3 day stay. You can’t go in the water, but that is true of all FNQ. This is not a luxury property but maybe a more authentic feel, the rooms have the basic necessities and are clean and comfortable. The property is well located for Daintree activities, we did both the horse riding and ziplining, both of which were excellent and can be organised by the staff."
