"The train went by right after we went to bed and blew its horn! This was before 10:00 pm We were not warned about the train schedule and felt a little blindsighted by this! Also felt that the small restaurant was overcrowded by the tour group. We couldn’t get a table or a seat at the bar so had to use a sitting area and had to order finger foods that didn’t require silverware. The bar and eating area was understaffed even though the two servers were amazing !!!! We did receive the best of care from the hard working servers👏👏👏"

"Hotel was nice but definitely dated. Carpet was coming up in the elevator. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hot tub was closed for the duration of our 5 night stay. Breakfast was decent. For the five mornings we had breakfast, they had eggs only twice. The days they did not have eggs, there were biscuits and gravy. Every day, there was sausage, bread for toast with spreads, some form of prepackaged baked item (mini donuts, muffins, etc), cereal, milk, and yogurt. Coffee and juice. Basic rooms had outdoor doors, suites had interior doors. Decent parking but limited and may be difficult to park if visiting in peak season."

The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the complimentary breakfast was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is perfect—just outside of downtown, so it’s quiet and relaxing, but still close and convenient to everything. The views are amazing too! And if you stay here, you have to try the onsite restaurant, Wild Sage. The food was absolutely to die for! We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend The ClubHouse to anyone visiting Rapid City!"
