"had a lovely relaxing stay at Whitehall. My only comment is that if you have mobility issues, request a ground floor room as there is no lift so had to carry my heavy suitcase upstairs. There are also several steps up to the hotel from the road and car park so you be mindful if you have lots of luggage. Aside from that, the room was spacious and well equipped with everything you need. The location was good as was only a short walk into town"

"A quaint hotel on the water overlooking the harbor. Connected with one of the top seafood restaurants in the area. The room was clean and adequate, but small and dated by contemporary hotel standards. Parking was a good and a big plus in the area where parking is extremely limited. Shops and restaurants are in easy walking distance. The woman who checked us in recommended Waves for breakfast. It was excellent. We visited the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, about a 10 minute drive. A note about the area. We visited October 5-6 and many of the local businesses had gone to shorter hours and not the hours we found on-line."
