"Nice grounds, lots to do and lots of wildlife. Loved the Dovecot and the beautiful birds everywhere! Very family oriented but still had a great time just me and my husband. Rooms in the hotel are a bit dated and run down, but fine for a short stay. One thing I didn't really appreciate was the lack of help from staff when trying to get a taxi to Gleneagles for a special lunch we had booked. I asked two separate members of staff if they could help me get a taxi as I was struggling and both times...

"Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Facilities at Leisure centre were great my grand daughter really enjoyed the swimming pool and putting. Beautiful surroundings which the were fantastic for walking the dog. Trim track could do with bit of maintenance for safety reasons. Our villa was in a good spot and had all we needed apart from Hairdryer which seemed to have disappeared as the box was there empty. Some paintwork needed refreshed but this did in no way spoil our enjoyment of the...

"Arrived at hotel early evening. Had problems from beginning i.e. trying to log in to pay for parking, enquiries re breakfast. Staff do not know anything about parking, restaurant and leisure facilities as they are all owned separately. Have stayed here often over previous years but sadly it has gone downhill. However, the room was clean, bed and bedding was very comfortable and bathroom/shower came with soap and toiletry sachets. We didn't get breakfast as it didn't look worth paying £14. ...

"Nice clean rooms. Breakfast was great. Nice grounds. Staff were lovely. Didn’t get a chance to use the pool. Not many negatives, but our room kept stopped working 3 times, in a 1 night stay. I had to nip out to the car, and ended up not being able to get back in to the building. Also, when others are entering the building (was a separate building with just bedrooms) the doors rattle really badly. My daughter kept thinking someone was trying to get in the room. "
