"Overall, this isn't a bad place. It would be nice to have a clean blanket on the bed (rather than just a dirty bedspread). Walmart is within walking distance, and the Greyhound bus station is a five-minute drive away."

"The location was great. Easy to use the 500 bus to get to the airport. The breakfast was good and the omelette was made for you . The hotel room was clean . The gym was clean had lots of good cardio machines and did have dumbbells and a cable machine but did lack the standard weights machines. The pool was lovely. Would have been nice to have been able to swim before 9am after the gym but it was well maintained ."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Houston Marriott Marquis! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The restaurants and bars on the property were fantastic, with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. The highlight of the trip was definitely the Texas-shaped lazy river and pool area. "The place was clean and modern and the breakfast was very good. However, they run the place really cheaply so I would not go back. They only clean the rooms every other day but give you towels for 1 day. The room had no conditioner and the body lotion didn’t work. There was no bar soap. They use the cheapest, thinnest toilet paper I’ve encountered in a hotel. They give you 1 coffee capsule for your stay, no matter how many nights. And they charge $20 per day for parking."
