The property has a classic“old Florida” charm that is not flashy or overdone—instead, it feels cozy, laid-back, and genuinely welcoming. Parmer's has that homey, relaxed vibe that makes it easy to settle in, unplug, and enjoy the simple pleasures of the Keys. It’s the perfect setting if you’re looking to escape the hustle and just breathe for a while. It’s tucked away in a quiet spot, giving you that “away-from-it-all” feeling, yet you’re still just a short drive from great food and local favorites. Places like Kiki’s, Square Grouper, and Tonio’s are all nearby, and there’s even a fun little taco spot a few miles down the road that’s worth checking out. The amenities really add to the experience without feeling overwhelming. There’s a small private beach where you can relax by the water, plus bicycles, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards available so you can explore at your own pace. "Unit was spacious, clean and well equipped with toiletries and kitchen items. Parking was flooded on arrival making it difficult to unload and load our vehicle and access the pool from our room. The property is seaside and not on the beach; however, there are sandy areas for sunbathing or sea access, a pool, and onsite excursions. Great for families."

"This is an excellent hotel to stay if you want a peaceful, quiet, low key place to hang while in Key West. While it is further out from the action, we found the shuttle to/from town very convienent. There is a paved trail across the street which was perfect for a morning run or walk down to Smathers Beach. The breakfast contained the usual breakfast buffet items which covered our needs. The pool and exercise room were an added bonus. The staff was friendly and reponsive to our requests. As it is near the airport, you can hear planes going over but that's true of any hotel in the area. Unless you sit in your room all day, you would hardly notice it (no flight noise between 9pm to 7am). The hotel facilities are clean and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our the four days we stayed and would definately stay there again. Highly recommend!"

"We booked this hotel for one night at the end of our vacation because of its convenient location near the airport for our early morning flight. The property itself is beautiful, with excellent amenities and four lovely pools that made for a relaxing afternoon while we waited for our room. Unfortunately, the check-in experience was quite stressful. We requested early check-in and were told our room wasn’t ready, but that we were welcome to use the pool facilities. We checked again at 3:00 p.m. and were still told the room was not ready. When I returned to the front desk at 4:45 p.m., I was informed they had attempted to contact us, but the phone number they had entered was incorrect—even though they had my correct number on filed. The valet experience was also disappointing and confusing. When we asked to retrieve our luggage from the vehicle, the valet handed us the keys and told us to go find the car ourselves because he wasn’t sure where it was parked. We were then told to find a luggage trolley, but none could be located. On the positive side, the room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the pools and overall property were enjoyable. The sandy beach area could use some attention and updating. Overall, the hotel has great amenities and potential, but the service and check-in process fell short of expectations."

"The room was clean and the place was quiet, which is good. The air conditioning was really good cause you can put it to a temperature that is right for you. The breakfast was also good. We had a terrible amount of rain fall on our last night and it was scarry but the staff came to our room to assure us that everything was okay and it was. The front desk staff and concierge were very helpful."

"Fairfield Inn was great for my friend and I visiting Key West for the weekend. They offered a shuttle downtown which was so convenient. The pool and tiki bar was really nice, staff was wonderful, and hotel was clean. The breakfast was a good one too! Would come back!"

"This is not your five-star resort. It is clean, cute, and more than fine for a stay. We chose this property due to the location. We weren't in Key West for the typical Key West stuff. I wanted to be close to the port for the Dry Tortugas ferry. The resort is a bit outdated, but well maintained. The rooms are layers of paint and bathrooms are older colors, so it doesn't look great, but it is very clean. The bathroom was very small but served its purpose just fine. I really did like the water view, hammock and small private patio. There aren't many places with these things. Now the water, it is on the water but I wouldn't have swum in it. Still, it was nice to sit and have coffee in the morning and watch the many birds. I did love that we could book activities and rent a golf cart on site! The restaurant has great drinks but a limited menu. Breakfast, don't go looking for anything great. That was the least liked part. Very limited continental breakfast. Waffles were from the freezer, you can tell. No breakfast meats or eggs. Just fruits, yogurts, cereal and waffles. Also, if you want coffee early in the am, you should plan ahead. We walked to the gas station as we needed to leave at 6am and there was no coffee yet. Grounds aren't a gorgeous resort, but just fine for the in and out that we were. I would say, don't go with high expectations but enjoy what it offers and the uniqueness!"
