"Absolutely horrible stay. It took over an hour to get the key code. The place looks like an unfinished Boy Scout project. Everything is old and dirty and rusty . Cigarette butts on the beach. Everything is rundown and damaged. I don’t believe that there was even a credible architect building this place. I felt like I was in a horror movie.
Last but not least We found out that the place is for sale…..No wonder !"

"I had a very good experience at this hotel. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and willing to assist with anything we needed. The pool was excellent, very clean and perfect for relaxing, and the food was also very good throughout our stay.
The only issue we noticed was that the drains in our room were partially clogged, which should be checked and improved.
Overall, I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again."

"Staff are mostly friendly and helpful (Sam at the front desk was awesome, as were all the shuttle drivers). Room was spotless. Pool area was a little nasty as people left their areas with half eaten food and beverages. Found chicken bone in the pool. Breakfast is super boring and tasteless. Lunch at the Tiki bar is ok but mostly the same as breakfast. Wish they never closed the Key West IHop!! Love Hampton Inn just not impressed with this one at Key West."

"I would give this place 4.25 stars in actuality. It's pretty, they have an hourly shuttle to and from Key West, there was plenty of parking in the garage, they have boat tours that you can take right on the grounds, the shower was large, and overall the room was nice. The elevator was very slow and sounded like metal grinding which was concerning and the toilet didn't flush right.
