Masseria Amastuola was a treat. Standing on top of Masseria's hill next to the tastefully remodelled building and looking over vineyard which was shaped to look like waves and the big old olive trees dotted everywhere, really makes you feel like you are in a movie. The attached restaurant had a fine dining atmosphere and the food to show it. We liked the wines alot. Naturally to Puglia they have a larger variety of red wines than white/rose wines. It is possible to book a tasting with one of their sommeliers. The staff was really attentive and great to talk to. In my opinion it is definitely necessary to have a car or similiar means of transport. As the Masseria is situated in the rural countryside outside of Massafra getting around without it would be rather difficult.

Hidden Gem in Puglia

Wow! This place is fantastic. The rooms, the service, the food, and the wine all exceeded my expectations. The staff are really friendly and attentive, we attended a wine tasting experience which was great, and had dinner onsite one night - all really reasonable in price too! It's such a beautiful and peaceful stay, my only wish was that we stayed longer.

The best place we have stayed so far on our one month trip to Italy. Chiara at reception as well as all of the employees could not be more helpful. Pina our server is being applauded on Facebook!!! This is the by far the best chef of any of Our vineyard stays. This place is beautiful and the best value. We are planning on returning.

This updated luxury winery B&B is Amazing and a must stop for all tourist that enjoy a good wine and gourmet dinner! Each room is Huge and we’ll appointed. The luxury bathrooms are very high end. This property has been a winery since 1050, and in the floor of the lobby has viewing of Greek structure of hundreds of years before Christ. The wine is primarily Primitivo and Syrah (with some blends of these varietals) and very tasty. The price is Fantastic for the amenities. When navigating to the property type in Amastuola winery. Un lieu superbe et reposant

Nous avons passé un séjour magnifique à la Masseria Amastuola. Chambre spacieuse, suffisamment équipée (télévision, petit réfrigérateur, dressing, baignoire, douche, WC séparé...) et très propre. Le lit est très confortable, les draps doux agréables. Design italien : fauteuils Gervasoni, lampes en céramique faites artisanalement dans la région. Il manquerait quelques éléments de décoration sur les étagères pour apporter un peu de chaleur, sinon rien à redire sur la chambre ! Le lieu en lui même est incroyable... sa localisation permet une vue à 360 degrés sur la région de Tarente, avec les vignes et bois tout au autour. Montez sur la terrasse à l’étage vous n’en croirez pas vos yeux... Le personnel est chaleureux et disponible. Le restaurant est à faire, menu dégustation en 6 temps à 40€ avec boissons incluses (eau, vin...), pensez à réserver. Des visites du domaine et dégustation de vins sont aussi proposées (comptez 15-20€), et possibilité d’acheter des bouteilles. Nous attendons avec hâte l’ouverture de la piscine à débordement pour revenir passer un peu de temps à la Masseria Amastuola. La vue depuis la piscine sera sans aucun doute incroyable ! Nous recommandons avec plaisir ce lieu. Merci pour tout.

We arrived at 2:45 PM and were told that we could only check in at 3:30 PM without explanation. They did offer us a drink. The room was nice but it was full of really ugly bugs. Very disappointed especially as it was not cheap.
