"We very much enjoyed our one night's stay. We had brought our dog, and were allocated a dog-friendly room which was clean, well-appointed, with a comfortable bed and the decor was fresh. The dog treats, bedding and bowl were a nice touch. There are additional parking charges (none if booked directly with the hotel) and ยฃ30 charge per night for the dog - a bit steep but the all-in cost was similar to other hotels for this period. Breakfast is very good with a wide choice of options and there is a special area for those with dogs with good access to the buffet."

"Beautiful building and grounds with stunning views. Bedrooms and bathrooms very tired and dated. Broken bathroom floor tiles needs addressing urgently. Staff were amazing. All really helpful and friendly."

"Its an older hotel - although updated a certain amount (Bathroom looked fairly new) - good location closed to the town centre, decent sized rooms, staff were great, and the breakfast was very good! No on-site parking, but there are several close by car parks (they've got the information at reception). Pro tip - The Sandes Avenue carpark a few mins walk away is only ยฃ1.50 for the entire day (If you buy a ticket after the charging period ends at 6pm it'll be good for the entire next day) Wifi worked, but was a bit patchy in our room - they could probably do with a few more access points. Overall we had a good stay, and I'd come back again - especially if they add some more Wifi access points so its a strong signal everywhere!"

"The Midland is Morecambe's beautiful Art Deco hotel. It's the third time I have stayed here. I can't fault it. The staff are lovely, friendly and funny, the rooms are extremely comfortable the food was plentiful amd tasty, and the hotel itself is just gorgeous. We will be back again next year I think!"

"The room was clean, but in need of some TLC. The lights did work, when the receptionist was told she came fiddled with the light bulbs, eventually they came back on. Once turned off they would not come back on. Very much felt that was an issue the hotel knew about, but had not fixed. The staff at breakfast were not welcoming. When the breakfast came the bacon and black pudding were not fully cooked. The sausage was poor quality and very peppery. Rather disappointing. Will not be staying again."
