"I have rarely used exceptional to review a hotel but the Kames was. We travelled here from New Zealand on holiday and we only had one night but it was exceptional. The restaurant menu is top class, the range on the menu was great and seriously 10/10. I had locally free dived seared scallops from the loch, I had the slow roasted goat shank with lentils - exceptional, and we shared a lemon tart with fresh berries. "We booked specifically for an overnight stay so we would be relatively close to attend a wonderful concert at Kilmelford Village Hall ,approx a 10 minutes drive away . We've had a very busy schedule recently and the hotel and tranquil peaceful surrounds and lovely views across the bay , was just what we needed. We were lucky the sun shone and we were able to spend a blissful hour or two after checking in ,sitting out on the patio with a nice cup of tea and cake. We weren't able to dine...
