"It was a quiet place to have a good night's sleep."

"The Kames hotel is in fabulous location overlooking Bute and a great base for exploring. We spent a week here and still so much to see. The hotel is lovely blend of old and modern - rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable and well furnished. We are each night in the restaurant and enjoyed great variety of delicious meals . The owner and staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. Our dog was made welcome too! "

"What a lovely place to stay!!! The beds are extremely comfy and the staff were so friendly and helpful! Would 10000 percent stay again. "

"The staff were great but the property could do with a bit of an upgrade. Shower nozzle was blocked and the shower gel was empty. That being said it was not expensive and we had good craic with Dougie and the other locals in the bar."
