"Stay on 2/13 – Do Not Recommend this hotel, ever! Our room (307) was overpriced $198, apparently for Mardi Gras. It was dirty, and had a strong odd smell that other reviews for this exact room have mentioned, so management clearly hasn’t addressed it. My husband went to the front desk to ask for a blanket (none on the bed); he and another customer witnessed the attendant on the phone arguing with a customer on the phone about their bill. When he asked her for a blanket, she replied, “It’s not Wyndham’s policy to provide blankets on the beds”. He said he didn’t care about the policy, just needed a blanket. The other customer that was waiting witnessing everything said that is absolutely not their policy. She returned with the blanket, handed it to him and said “what’s up with everyone’s attitudes today” He had an ice cream he was going to purchase, she barked that he’d need to pay cash for it which he had. He put it back and said he wasn’t hungry anymore. Note that the afternoon attendant that helped us when we arrived was polite, but the evening experience and lack of cleanliness made this one of our worst hotel stays. We cannot recommend this hotel."

"HORRIBLE! HORRIBLE! These are only a few of the issues: Room and entire floor smelled like a mix of urine and cigarette smoke which made my allergies even worse. Window shade would not roll up. Only had two working light bulbs in bathroom. The bathroom was filthy including floors, tub, shower head, hair dryer. The entire place just felt dirty. My husband stood up watching the very outdated TV—would not sit on couch and only got in the bed when he was about to fall asleep. Booked 2 nights but we checked out after 1st night and found MUCH better hotel for almost same price. People hanging out drinking beer and talking with front desk clerk when we checked out. The front desk lady was not willing to listen/resolve our situation when we checked out and we left extremely frustrated….I’m sure we’ll never be refunded for the 2nd night."

"Staff a complete 10/10 but the hotel is old, dark and run down! Poor breakfast option and pricey but plenty of restaurants nearby "

"Everything, from sticky furniture, to left over soap from last guest with hair on it, to light bulbs blown over sink area and they didn't fix it, they left it that way. They left an elderly man with a walker without light over the wash area.. I told them to move my father because he didn't need a trip and fall accident because he couldn't see in the dark area."

"Spotless clean! Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Excellent stop for a tired traveler. "
