"There was a large group checking un when we arrived. We had to leave and come back, as everyone at the front desk was helping and 1 coild not stop just to process our checkin. Was a bit tight for us getting to our event, and would have been very helpful had 1 of the front desk people been able to help us."

"I just loved the cottages! Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom was perfect. A private bedroom and living room with a small deck overlooking the golf course and wooded area. I will definitely stay in them next I go to Comox. The staff were all very helpful and nice. The ladies who took care of the cottages were wonderful. Especially (I’ve forgotten her name…… reddish hair and glasses) I locked myself out twice🙄🙄 and since she knew I was there she opened my door and was so funny and nice about it. The check in was a bit slow but I think one of the front desk people was very new. Overall I would give the review 5*. Thanks Crown Isle for a lovely stay!"

"Well supplied units, would highly recommend UNLESS you have accessibility issues, which I do, temporarily. I have stayed at this hotel a few times and enjoy it, but going through some medical treatment right now means I can't do stairs and I hadn't really noticed until now that the front of the hotel is all stairs and there is no elevator. The staff were kind enough to help me to my room on arrival, however no one was available to help me leave, so it was a challenge to say the least. If you're OK with stairs the place is clean and central and the staff are great!"

"Our stay at the resort felt like stepping into a dream we didn’t want to wake up from. From the moment we arrived, everything seemed designed for quiet romance and effortless comfort. The staff welcomed us with genuine warmth, and it set the tone for the entire experience. Waking up beside my girlfriend to the soft morning light and the sound of nature just outside our balcony was something special. We spent slow mornings sipping tea with a view that didn’t feel real, and unhurried afternoons exploring the grounds, finding little pockets of beauty everywhere, hidden gardens, serene pools, and perfect spots to just sit together and exist. What made it unforgettable wasn’t just the luxury (though everything—from the room to the food—was exceptional), but how easy it was to feel connected. Whether we were sharing quiet dinners at CARVE meatery, or laughing over nothing in particular, the resort created a space where time slowed down and everything else faded away. If you’re looking for a place to reconnect, celebrate love, or simply escape the noise of everyday life with someone who matters deeply to you, this is it. We left with full hearts, incredible memories, and already talking about when we can come back."

"hot breakfast was bare minimum, avg. sausage, scrambled egg(ish?) and potato. toast, waffle, juice and coffee. none of the handy continental breakfast staples like fresh fruit, muffins, yogurt,and all the usual items. ie, nothing you could take out with you to maybe enjoy later or in your room. you can order off the menu for a discount, but now your paying for something that's basically supposed to be included. We thought this room was on the high side for what is a very basic room. This property is about to be branded a Best Western we were told. If the prices go up, which is probably likely, it will fall out of our value picks."
