"This may be one of my favorite hotels I've stayed in, anywhere. I stayed there while walking the TMB and then went back to stay again after because I thought it was so nice and unique. They have animals everywhere and an animal happy hour kind of thing in the evening where you can pet the dogs and other animals that roam around. The staff are very kind and helpful. "Beautiful, atmospheric (though well maintained) old building. One of the doors inside is bullet into an impressive stone arch with the Savoie crest carved into it. It once marked the boarder between Savoy and the rest of Italy, so that gives an idea of how old the original structure is My room was comfortable and had a balcony affording a lovely view of time-honoured stone-tiled roofs and the mountains beyond .
