At the airport directional signs for shuttles and buses will lead you to another Clayton Hotel well over a mile away. Four words on the confirmation will fix this ‘Hotel Shuttle Island Eight’. Once you get to the hotel, you’ll get a room thermostat that automatically increases during the night for a toasty sleep and a pillow that feels like an overstuffed laundry...

"Good standard hotel with period features, lovely gardens and very helpful staff. Placed between city centre and Wicklow hills it is a good base for seeing both and an easy walk to UCD. Parking is plentiful and the 6 new EV chargers in underground car park are a plus. Rooms are a little dated in terms of equipment but furniture is recent. Beds very comfortable . Sound proofing between rooms is not great. Overall good vfm in a very expensive city."
