"The owners were lovely and very welcoming with off road parking provided within the grounds. The whole building was full or character and very stylishly decorated to a high level with a selection of D-day memorabilia and information in the dining room. There was a good breakfast included of Croissant/Pain au Chocolate/Pain au Raisin and bread, preserves and cheese together with hot drinks and juice. "Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in dieser Unterkunft. Clémence ist super freundlich und eine tolle Wirtin. Zum Frühstück gab es stets frisches, selbstgemachrs Brot, selbstgemachter Joghurt sowie auch jeden Tag etwas selbstgemachtes süsses wie Crepes, French Toast, Pancakes,... Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen: Wir hatten in unserem wirklich tollen Zimmer nur eine Badewanne, welche zum Duschen etwas umständlich war. Aber das ist wirklich eine ganz kleine Anmerkung am Rande. "Wat een heerlijke plek! We werden hartelijk ontvangen en voelden ons meteen welkom. De kamer was erg ruim, schoon en perfect voor ons gezin van vier. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en met zorg bereid – een perfecte start van de dag! Wat ons vooral opviel, was hoe kindvriendelijk alles is. "La maison d'hôtes a été ouverte récemment, toutes les chambres et les équipements sont neufs. Le site est logé au milieu d'un haras, donc environnement calme. Le lieu étant éloigné des zones urbaines, je conseille la table d'hôtes le soir qui est excellente et permet de partager avec Vanessa un monde souvent inconnu, celui des chevaux de courses. "Absolutely fantastic historical hotel. It was a history lesson right in front of us. Beside that we had Crystal and China glasses and cups. The rooms were better than excellent with all the comforts and more. The breakfast was great. We highly recomnend this place."

"Amazing accommodations. Host family was very kind and communicated well throughout process. Nicest place we stayed in our 5 day trip. Great for visiting the WWII museums and beaches. Downtown Bayeux had a great selection of places to eat. "
