You can purchase food from street vendors on the beach side of the street. There is no night life and no shopping near. "The hotel was great except we were given a room with a the view that we had paid for. At the checkout, when asked, we were told that we should have asked at the checkout in, which makes no sense. The top floors are not blocked by the shorter buildings across. The elevator buttons were also flaky. They light up after the card scanned, and then they would go off. That happened half of the time. Otherwise, a great hotel in a great location and we had a great time."

"Great experience! English-speaking staff made it so easy. Location is in a very safe area. Breakfast buffet was incredible and we were so glad they had protein (eggs, bacon, and yogurts)--which was not available in other Brazilian hotels we stayed at, as carbs/cake are often served for breakfast. Nearby is an açai bowl place (bonus)."

"Very nice Hotel, really it os not beach front, but the closest to The beach can get, a main street away! It is an old property, the staff is very nice and helpful, the building is old and the elevators take a while. Location is great! Good place but pricy for the infrastructure."
