Excellent location, staff was professional, $25 to park outside and $10 resort fee add up on a stay, staff was knowledgeable, wonderful dog park and trail across the street from the hotel. Dog friendly, and guest friendly. One negative: the hotel states it doesn’t allow cigarette, vape, marijuana smoking in the hotel, rooms, patio and common areas. I had to move three times because of secondhand smoke from guests cigarettes, vape, and smoke marijuana. I finally moved away from Staybridge . I asked for my prepaid stay to be refunded. They had a responsibility to provide me a smoke free environment Staybridge broke their Re

I booked this for location and room size. We have 3 kids and we're coming into John Wayne Airport late. The location worked great and the size was good. However, the A/C stopped working halfway through the night (and OC was having a heat wave). I tried to call the front desk and the phones all didn't work. Additionally, our room smelled like cat pee so strong it made us sick. I went to the front desk at 1am but she couldn't help (though she gave me lysol for the smell and told me how to reset the A/C). We got the air on and gor through the night. The free breakfast was good for families. They gave us points to come back, but it wasn't enough to book anything, and since we paid through Expedia I couldn't get any refunds. I was just glad we were only there one night.

Second time staying at this location. Second time there was some kind of issue with the room. Asked if there was another room I can switch to while they find a resolution, but, again, they said they are fully booked. I wish there was a way I can blacklist this location on my app so that I don't mistakenly choose it, but I think I won't be forgetting this location.

Room was nice, clean, no issues from a physical room experience. However, the one night i stayed was loud. Cars out front on the street, doors in the hall opening closing, and my room phone chirping randomly. There was a power outage overnight and the cable went out. I checkedin around 8p and checked out at 11am, almost half the time I was there the cable was out. I asked for some form of credit, zero compensation. I was one person on a personal stay, what else am I going to do in my room but have the TV on...they didnt have that. Furthermore, they charge $25 for parking and a $10 entertainment fee for activities around the property. Im there to sleep/shower/eat/hopefully relax....not play pool basketball or pickleball. Why am I paying for that? Just another corporate cash grab to nickle and dime guests. Does everyone pay for parking even if they dont park? Then why am I paying for activities Im not using. My experience will make me think twice before considering a stay at another Staybridge Suites. Payed around $260 for a subpar experience, but the room asthetically was nice, the rest of the stay has my questioning.
