"Lovely place to stay. Staff took care of guests well. I only had one breakfast (and one take out) during my stay but they kept offering options for the rest of days I couldn't make breakfast. Open facade in the middle of the building is welcoming/charming. Wednesday course dinner was great. Quiet and accessible neighborhood. Would love to come back."

"I suppose the kindest thing to say is that The Monkey Room is a "work in progress". The hotel/hostal is right in the centre of Marbella Old Town and although it sets out in adverts to be "chic" and "cool" it has a long way to go. While I was there a workman was on site preparing another cubby hole as a bedroom and I think my room was only half-finished. "Cozy, comfortable, great location. We had the room with the private bathroom, it was clean and stocked with hand soap, body wash/shampoo. We checked in with Francisco and he was amazing. Very informative, super friendly, and more helpful than we expected. We only really interacted with him, not so much the other staff. The walking distance to most everything we wanted to visit was great for what we needed. I'm so glad this was available for our stay. The rooftop was a nice place to relax and...

"Everything is great. Magdalena was very helpful. Only thing is the shampoo and shower gel weren't labelled so we had to guess which one is which, but it wasn't a big deal, we could easily have asked but didn't want to bother. The shower was nice and hot, very relaxing. "
