An amazing stay in a beautiful traditional home. This is the place that authors and poets write about. Carlos has made this home so welcoming. Puerto de Sta Maria is a very cute town and a quick ferry ride from Cadiz's downtown.

Una maravilla de sitio y muy bien situado. Un patio precioso repleto de plantas donde desayunar o sentarte, habitaciones muy cómodas, limpísimas y decoradas con gusto, desayunos estupendos… Carlos es muy majo y amable, te ayuda en todo: dónde comer, cómo ir a los sitios, qué ver…fiaros de él. Total y absolutamente recomendable para volver sin ninguna duda. De lo mejor.

Loved the room & shower room, great facillities, loved the house especially patio with all the plants, loved the interesting furniture, some it previously loved, great recycling & upcycling. Bit of traffic noise in the morning but alas that is part of city living, but proved not to be a problem as we had slept really well..

This is a charming place, with an interior patio. Spotless clean, close to restaurants and the ferry to Cádiz. But what made it unforgettable for us was Carlos, who gave us great advice on everything from getting around, to restaurants and especially to some great beaches. We had a wonderful time.

O Carlos foi um anfitrião impecável, muito prestável na chegada e nas sugestões que ofereceu. A casa tinha muito carácter, o pátio, a pequena copa e zona de refeições estão decorados com muito bom gosto, provocam uma sensação muito acolhedora. O quarto estava limpo e apetrechado com tudo o estritamente essencial. A localização, próximo do centro, ideal. Estacionar também não foi difícil, muitas ruas próximas com estacionamento livre. Estivemos dois dias, sem preocupações extras. Repetiremos e reconendanos. 5 estrelas!

Von der ersten Sekunde an habe ich mich absolut wohl gefühlt. Ich bin mit dem Auto angereist und konnte für die Zeit des Check-Ins problemlos vor dem Eingang der Unterkunft parken. Carlos, der Besitzer hatte mich wirklich sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen, zeigte mir zuerst mein Zimmer und gab mir im Anschluss einen überblick über das wunderschöne El Puerto de Santa Maria. Unter anderem zeigte er mir mehrere kostenfreie Parkplätze auf, wobei ich mich für den an der Stierkampfarena entschied, auf welchem (zumindest während der Pfingstferien), genügend freie Stellplätze waren. Danach zeigte mir Carlos noch die weitere Unterkunft, welche mit sehr viel Liebe, Passion und Geschmack eingerichtet ist. Ich habe mich sofort sehr wohl gefühlt und konnte die 5 Tage, die ich dort verbracht habe, super entspannen. Wie nicht anders zu erwarten waren sowohl das Zimmer als auch alles andere sehr sauber und gepflegt. Auf den Zimmern hat man was die Bad-Ausstattung angeht alles vorgefunden. Das Frühstück war meiner Meinung nach vollkommen ausreichend und wunderschön hergerichtet. Ich denke, dass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei ist. Zudem war der Kaffee sehr lecker und es besteht die Möglichkeit außerhalb der Frühstückszeiten jederzeit Kaffee, Wasser, Cola,etc. gegen ein minimales Entgelt, zu beziehen. Zu Fuß kann man Restaurants, Sehenswürdigkeiten und den Strand einwandfrei erreichen. Alles in allem: Die wunderschönste Unterkunft, in der ich je war. Kann sie nur weiterempfehlen!

A small and very unique hotel where the proprietors do their utmost to ensure your stay is as enjoyable as it possibly can be. Carlos was extremely friendly and helpful and could not have done more. So naturally we enjoyed our 3 night stay here.

Fantastic place that I hihgly recommend. Friendly, quality service by the english speaking owner. Superclean and nice decorated rooms. Located in the historical center with walking distance to everything. Shared bathroom, only 2 room, works perfectly.

Wonderful little casa

Beautifully decorated and very clean. Friendly staff. We were in a room with windows on the street but didn't cause a problem as heard hardly any noise. We had breakfast and it was nice and basic with juice, coffee, cereal, breads/cakes, cheese and ham.
